Yew Tree Villa, a charming Edwardian dwelling, was built around 1910. The exterior has been altered over the years, but the house still retains many of the original features, such as the encaustic tiled inner hall, the little Edwardian bedroom fireplaces and lovely solid oak staircase.
Yew Tree Villa, although a modest family home, was until recently the rectory and was originally called Maesyfed – the Welsh name for the village of New Radnor. It was also the first house in the village to have electricity.
The Bed and Breakfast provides a great hearty healthy breakfast and a peaceful and tranquil location, ideal for those in search of a much-needed rest after a day tackling the famous Offa's Dyke Path or visiting the Welsh showground. It is only a short distance away from the little bustling market towns of Kington, Knighton and Presteigne.
